I like to cook but more so I like to eat. I love to get new cookbooks from the library and to sit down and read them. If I find one I think I will use then I buy it later. My all time favorite book right now is the American's Test Kitchen Family Cookbook. Modern easy but super yummy fail proof recipes.

ATK is my bible right now. I had potatoes to use and wanted to do a no-mayo salad with them and this book didn't disappoint. BTW, the French Potato Salad recipe is a winner, should you ever want to try it ;-)
Love library cookbooks, too. Excellent discovery.
