Nathan and Paul got their second shot just 2 mins from our place at Safeway.   The beach here was .25 of a mile walk and 1 mile drive to parking.  It was 7 miles long and just wonderful weather most days.  It was nice to get some shopping done in tax free town.  The kids desperately needed new shoes.  Alex had his 5th grade graduation zoom and Nathan did his first WEB leader zoom.  We ate out lots, cooked chicken and apple dogs on the beach and had crab one night.   We really loved Lincoln City and hope to come back again for more lazy days on the beach.  We didn't get a Saturday here because we decided to break up the last leg of our trip into two days.

 

Day 64-70 Coos Bay/NorthBend OR

 

Here we stayed at a nice Casino on the waterfront.  We loved that the pool was open and during the week we had it to our self.  Plus the hot tub was outside.  We took it pretty easy here and did one hike near Simpson Point with plenty of Sea Lions that could be heard on our walk.  The beach was hit and miss.  Being in a huge fog one for a couple of our visits.
